Kitting is where basic 3PLs start making mistakes.
A single-SKU order is easy. A kit with three components, an insert and custom packaging is where the wrong flavor ends up in the box, inserts get skipped, and inventory counts stop matching what's on the shelf.
Most brands end up kitting in a garage, paying a co-packer and then shipping finished kits to their 3PL, or living with error rates they'd never accept on regular orders.
At Stride, kitting happens in the same warehouse as your fulfillment. Kits are built to a written spec, components are scanned, and finished kits go straight into sellable inventory.

Kitting and assembly FAQs
What's the difference between kitting, assembly and bundling?
They overlap. Bundling usually means grouping existing SKUs into one sellable unit. Kitting is assembling those components into a finished package. Assembly can include building or packaging products before they ship. We handle all three.
Can you add inserts and custom packaging?
Yes. We place thank-you cards, instructions, samples and branded packaging in kits and regular orders, to your spec.
Do you kit for Amazon FBA?
Yes. We bundle, label and prep kits to Amazon's requirements and ship them to FBA. We prepped 300,000 supplement units for FBA in 14 days.
Can you build retail-ready kits?
Yes. We pack and label kits to big-box retailer specs for wholesale and dropship programs.
Do you track lots inside kits?
Components are received and stored by lot, and orders record the lot that shipped, so dated products stay traceable after they're kitted.
Where is your warehouse?
